Do you wonder about the men and women behind the scenes for your VoIP service provider? Let’s meet #TEAMIPITIMI. Each week, we will do a quick interview and feature one special employee on our blog to celebrate our diversity in this tight-knit community. This week, we would like to feature our Customer Experience Manager, Aubree Jenkins.
Q: Could you tell me a little bit about yourself?
A: My Name is Aubree Jenkins-Gelok, I was born and have spent the majority of my life in Colorado. I have 3 brothers, so I grew up playing football in a dress. I am a wife, and mother of 3 boys, Jeremiah 9, Jessiah 2, and Jayce 8 months, (I’m still playing football in a dress!) I live on a Ranch where we raise pigs, cows, chickens and ducks! I have been in the telecommunication industry for 13 years. I started as an agent working at an Answering service in Denver, Co. Within 3 years at the Answering Service, I was promoted to office manager’s assistant, learning all aspects of the business including billing, sales, programming, customer service, and account management. In 2009 I left the Answering service and joined SkyStream where I became Executive Communication Specialist.
Q: What brought you to IPitimi?
A: SkyStream merged with Ipitimi in April of 2016 giving me the opportunity to continue growing and learning in the industry that I love.
Q: What is your role in IPitimi?
A: My current title is Customer Experience Manager- My role consists of interacting with customers, implementing any changes and adding services. I am currently assisting in the migration of customers to IPitimi’s advanced network.
Q: What is IPitimi’s greatest strength in your opinion?
A: In my opinion Ipitimi’s greatest strength is the diversity, and extensive knowledge of every team member.
Q: Where do you see VOIP/IPitimi going in the next 5-10 years?
A: I believe VOIP will be the standard for communication, and Ipitimi will be the preferred provider!
Q: Do you have a favorite work experience?
A: My favorite work experience was being awarded the Best of Show award for The Professional Association for Customer Engagement (PACE) in both 2010 and 2011. On a less serious note, at a conference in Albuquerque, NM in 2012 I got 15 Call Center owners to get up on stage and taught them how to “Dougie”.
